The Chamber Launches it’s Second Edition Community Guide To Help Valley Visitors and Businesses.
A message from their President:
We are The Chamber now, serving the greater Wood River Valley. With this second annual issue of our Membership Directory and Community Guide, we’d like to introduce you to our community, our organization, and our member businesses.
Located in the heart of Blaine County, Idaho, the Wood River Valley is a unique and beautiful place that brings together Idaho’s oldest destination ski resort, wild scenic mountains, friendly communities, and productive farms and ranches. The area is home to more than 21,000 people, and we welcome you to join us—either as a permanent resident or as a visitor. Almost 5,000 families join our community as seasonal residents each year, and many more come on shorter visits to ski Bald and Dollar mountains or to hike, bike, and camp in the thousands of acres of public land that surrounds the cities of Bellevue, Hailey, Ketchum, and Sun Valley. Make sure to stop and visit us at the Welcome Center in Hailey for maps and information.
The Chamber represents more than 350 member businesses from Bellevue to Sun Valley and supports them with a combination of services that include networking, marketing, promotion, and advocacy. These businesses are as varied and unique as the wildflowers that adorn our hillsides in the spring, and you’ll find that they offer a full range of goods and services combined with helpful and personal service. We welcome you to the valley and our community!
